You can define as many room names as you wish. When you enter a fixture, you can then tell the system what room to place the fixture in. This can help when doing a takeoff as you can easily identify each room and ensure you have provided lights for each.
When you deliver the fixtures to the job site, the boxes can then also be placed and installed in the correct room the first time. To help with this, the shipping labels can be printed with the room names on them.
On the printed invoice, you can sort the lines by the room name. Installers like to have all the fixtures listed for a given room so they do not have to come back to the same place they were just at. |
